if i were...thin

 I'd wear:
the messed up Up do and rock star studs on most of my outfits

I'd be either one of them wearing BLACK OUT shades

BLING BLING

the tele tubie hairstyle

Lady Gaga will look like a saint compared to me

I'd wear this Pucci gown to the beach

I'd be the girl on the right wearing glitzy gold to PTCs

white tee, jeans, metallic tweed jacket and a Kelly. perfect.
my bff and I will look stunning together

NO I WILL NEVER LOOK THIS FOSHO
Puhleaze...Alzheimer's won't make me forget to wear my bra.

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

I took this photo at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam sometime 3yrs ago.  I like that the man on the foreground flashes me this stoic placid look as I point my camera and take a shot of him.  I want to hear his story and this picture speaks a thousand words...aside from the conspicuously missing footwear!

Sorry, no Havaianas around town

Good News

HELLS YEA!

The good news is...we can love.  And love.  And love again.  And again.  And again.  True love never dies.  It's always there lurking underneath all our fears.  It's lost only when we give up.  If we give up then it was never really true love in the first place.

Letting go

Someone said to me very loudly with matching emotional despair...

"I am glad I chose to to dump him because by loving him I would have sacrificed and suffered so much for him.  So it was really a good decision to not choose love even if I really hopelessly loved him."

Congratulations! You are now a certified coward.  Love is indeed about sacrificing.  If you're not ready then don't.  Don't love because by loving someone, you're giving that someone the power to hurt you.  Love sucks alright!  When you choose not to love, you are actually weak.  "To love and be loved is the prerogative of the brave."

Time teaches us the value of love

For those of you who have found your one true love, I'd say, hold on to it and never let go.  Fight for love. It's easy for people to say that you are still very young and you still don't know what love is.  But I found my one true love when I was 17 and he was 18.  I believed in love and my one true love never let go of me.  He always fought for me and I'm proud that we are still together after 25yrs of marriage.

Fight for LOVE.  Fight for me!!! (Can't find a better photo sorry pohz)

DON'T BE ONE

Friend

once a friend, always a friend

My friend, know that I love you with all my heart.  But I have a few rules I follow to the bones and expect my friends to comply as well.

One, no back stabbing.  Two, when you say something to me don't ever deny it.  Three, don't create "issues". I don't have time for kindergarden issues.

don't be a fool

So, you think you're old enough?  Now what?  You want to hate your natural habitat which you referred to as your "comfort zone" and explore what is unfamiliar just so you can say that you are resilient to change?  Yes, you've conformed to rules all your life and oh how beautiful you turned out to be until today.  Why?  Just because you are surrounded with people whose upbringing and mentality are totally opposite yours you immediately resent the methods and culture that is almost engraved in your bones?  So what if you want to walk away from that "comfort zone" and reach for your goals?  What's that got to do with people controlling you? Did you mean that some sort of controlling people stopped you from getting to your goal?  What exactly did you mean when you said that people controlled you even in the way you DRESS?  Are you talking about the office dress code or your mother having a say if your outfit is a tad too short or your neckline too revealing?

To quote you  "That passion to want to achieve my goals ... just vanished...the more I stayed, the more I dragged myself down and lost my confidence...I let other people decide what I should do tonight, where I should be, how I should act, even DRESS."

I miss those days when your survival depended on me and you never doubted

Those days when growing up was just a natural thing that occurred
you flourished while your parents struggled

Wasn't that job in school like a pit stop before your actual graduation rites?  You said it yourself, while others were staying home wasting time, at least you were being paid to do what you had been doing all along as the IVP of the student council.  And what's this about losing confidence?  I remember how happily you mentioned to me that you've gained so much confidence by being competent in the job you did for school.  Wasn't it the happiest and the fun-est time of your life when you were with your younger friends and your younger boyfriend?  You said so yourself.  But didn't need to.  That was the time you glowed.  I wouldn't look back to those days and say "I will not let these people hold me back and control me"  What is this place exactly that you referred to as you comfort zone?  Is it the home you grew up in or the school your learned so much from or both?  Are we now turning into a cynical monster?  Whoa!  Has the negativity rubbed on you in a passive way?  You know, you think you're still positive but you're actually not.  Grow up!  Don't be blinded and easily swayed.  It's not just doing something if you know it is not wrong...it should be to do what is right.

Here's something you can introspect on before your next blog:  LOVE YOURSELF.  LOVE YOUR ROOTS.  LOVE WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF.

before you trash your past let me tell you that you were doing GREAT doing small steps at a time.

FOOLS RUSH IN WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD

you will never be unwanted, unloved,
uncared for or forgotten
and that is your strength...

our precious gift to you

my children

if i accept u for who you are then i will make you worst.
however, if i treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming
then i help you become that.
i will not let what you cannot do
interfere with what you can do
you were meant to be great!

what i think...

What is the most over rated sin?
Premarital sex.  Because among other sins, it is conditional.  It is not a sin once you're married.

What is the most over rated sentence?
Thank you.  Thank you is just thank you when it is said, easily forgotten and said too often.  If you really mean it you will do something more than just say it.

What is the most over rated virtue?
Honesty.  We don't really wanna know everything.  Do we really need to know it all??

What is the most under rated deadly sin?
Lust.  There's too much enjoyment involved that we tend to forget that it is a sin.  (most deadly sins are under rated)

What is the most under rated feeling?
Care.  Caring is always positive.  Unlike love, which is quite complex, caring for someone entails genuine concern and is easily conveyed.

What is the most over rated sacrament?
Confirmation.  Why?????  Because I don't get this actually.

What is the worst advice you were told?
"Don't care what people say and think about you."  For me I should care what others think and say about me.  I should care that I win worship by trying to do the right thing -what my conscience dictates.

What is the best advice you were told?
Multitude but the most relevant are:
From my mom: "Choose your friends well."
From my dad's friend:  "Never get intimidated with the social status of a person.  Be able to talk comfortably and mingle confidently with the President of the country or the modest janitor of the building."

What is the best advice you can give?
Hold on to your principles, stand by your convictions and live a virtues life.  It is closest to wisdom itself.  Happiness shouldn't be the basis of everything you do.

I feel nothing

To my 10 billion imaginary followers and my 10 confirmed stalkers (aha! got u there):

If you're wondering what's cooking for the past few days well just like the weather, I've gone through an emotional roller coaster recently.

I'm anticipating a heart attack would soon jolt my numb heart and bring life back to normal.  Paradox.

Here's a knife.  Stab me.

Nothing. Nothing. Nothing.

Nothing is empty.  Irony.  Equivocation.

Real lies.  Oxymoron

Listen to GREEN DAY and you'll know what I wanna say exactly at this very moment.
"Wake me up when September ends"

just lyrics

This is how it works:
you're young until you're not
you love until you're down
you try until you can't
you laugh until you cry
you cry until you laugh
and everyone must breathe
until their dying breath

this is how it works
you peer inside yourself
you take the things you like
and try to love the things you took
and then you take that love you make
and stick it into some
someone else's heart
pumpin' someone else's blood
and walk in arm-in-arm
you hope you don't get hurt
and even if it does
you just do it all again
