So obviously Obama got his wish when all of his enemies died one by one this year, the last of which died just this week. RIP Kim Jung Il. Americans will have a merry christmas after all.

once again, parts of our country (Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City), swiped out by this mega typhoon. One thousand dead as of today. This mass killing is unimaginable. Is end of the world near?

I offer a silent moment in prayer for everyone, fortitude for those who survived and eternal peace for those who died. Amen.

My white Birkin so angas! It's not THAT white any more but I prefer it that way. It's so easy to dress up and it gives off the impression that the owner of a white bag is a clean freak (which I'm def so not). Contrary to what everyone thinks, it is not high maintenance in the sense that, well, actually you just need a Staedler eraser to remove whatever dirt it incurs.

eat your hearts out, BITCHES!!!

Dahling, subtle is so not me. For the soft and weak I try to be gentle but you're still not gonna like it. I view the world armed with a kaleidoscope and my signature satire humor. I'm not the typical lovable and adorable person you immediately bond to upon the first few meetings. I can walk in a place full of people and act like I own it. My voice resonates long after I finish talking and my laughter is legendary. Believe me, a lot of people are intimidated by this rather endearing personality that needs to be unhurriedly uncovered. I swear, my friends can attest to this!

I find people who cannot talk straight to the point lacking either in courage or conviction. I can smell a hypocrite a mile away and when I smell one I have this self-imposed exile rule that I follow and avoid any possibilities of developing close ties with them. Honey, if you're too good to be true then you are not! I don't buy those goody two shoes so you might as well walk with none.

Dear God,

Why can't we live happily together? Why does she think that she has to prove herself? I thought only good will come out of good? Wasn't I good enough? Can You make us whole again? Wasn't I faithful to You all this time? I think of myself and I am reminded of Job. Will I suffer the same test?

Style

Style is what you have, not what you buy. There are no rules to personal style except your own. You may be flashy but classy or simple yet fabulous. No one is born with it, most definitely.

However, we owe part of our acquired taste to whoever was in charge of dressing us up when we were children. For me, style is not just about what you wear. It also encompasses all mannerisms and gait of a person which exhibits the real character of that person. For one to have style, you simply cannot take dressing up for granted. Let's face it, the world judge us by the way we look and who doesn't want to look good and make a good impression, right?

Train ride from Barca to Figueras

A glimpse of the beautiful countryside...with graffiti on the walls. Those scribblings are absolute contrast to the landscape. Sitting in seats 93-94, looking out at the scenery like watching a video on fast rewind. Yes, I am seated my back facing the direction of the train. What a sight! Everything is on reverse! I'm listening to Mozart symphony 40 but the voices of some tweenagers (20's) are more audible than the music stuck in my ears. They are speaking French and I can almost understand what they are saying. Their laughter is the only give away that they are having a great time. My daughters, like me, are basking in our quiet time alone. We are seated away from each other. Moments like these have become rare as we are almost conjoined since the beginning of this trip. Ah! How many days have we been travelling together? I don't know. I never really counted. I miss my two other kids at home. But not too much yet.
