I wonder until when my body can keep up with the long drives that I am so fond of.  My eyesight is brutally defective and 2 shots of strong coffee can barely keep me awake on distance drives.  But I have discovered that singing is an amazing way to keep me alert and my passengers entertained, most often (haha, i wish!). Those crooked roads, swerving uphill, downhill and chasing away the tricycles give me ample adrenalin rush.  I am amused that a middle aged adult like me has so much naughty and disruptive thoughts that make me smile and secretly pleased with myself.  If it weren't for some motherly and wifey concerns, I would have bought a small house hidden in the outskirts and stayed there every weekend of my life so that I have an alibi to vamoose from the world and take over behind the wheel.  

Driving gives me a certain calm by making me focus on the road as I make peripheral glimpses at the magnificent scenery I pass by.  Finally my mind is unruffled by hordes of thoughts that constantly nag me and for a few hours I reward myself an escape from reality.   I should confess my little escapes, the benign delights, the fabulous thrills, add spice to those dull moments we all experience once in a while, in our lifetime.  Just the thought of having an adventure excites me.  Yes, I constantly challenge myself and love doing this unrivaled guilty pleasure over and over again.  Road trip

Doing flower arrangement is fun and therapeutic.  Yeah, that sounds old, I know! I actually took up this hobby several years ago (approx 10), gave up too soon and until recently, got hooked on it again.  I know this will be a spur of the moment diversion but hey, who says I can't make a living out of it?  Hmmm..

So obviously Obama got his wish when all of his enemies died one by one this year, the last of which died just this week.  RIP Kim Jung Il.  Americans will have a merry christmas after all.

MEGA Typhoon -Sedang

once again, parts of our country (Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City), swiped out by this mega typhoon.  One thousand dead as of today.  This mass killing is unimaginable.  Is end of the world near?  


I offer a silent moment in prayer for everyone, fortitude for those who survived and eternal peace for those who died.  Amen.

My white Birkin so angas!  It's not THAT white any more but I prefer it that way.  It's so easy to dress up and it gives off the impression that the owner of a white bag is a clean freak (which I'm def so not).  Contrary to what everyone thinks, it is not high maintenance in the sense that, well, actually you just need a Staedler eraser to remove whatever dirt it incurs.

Dahling, subtle is so not me.  For the soft and weak I try to be gentle but you're still not gonna like it.  I view the world armed with a kaleidoscope and my signature satire humor.  I'm not the typical lovable and adorable person you immediately bond to upon the first few meetings.  I can walk in a place full of people and act like I own it.  My voice resonates long after I finish talking and my laughter is legendary.  Believe me, a lot of people are intimidated by this rather endearing personality that needs to be unhurriedly uncovered.  I swear, my friends can attest to this!  

I find people who cannot talk straight to the point lacking either in courage or conviction.  I can smell a hypocrite a mile away and when I smell one I have this self-imposed exile rule that I follow and avoid any  possibilities of developing close ties with them.  Honey, if you're too good to be true then you are not!  I don't buy those goody two shoes so you might as well walk with none.

I am defeated.  But it is not over.  You got my strongest soldier and it pains me.  She will come around, you will see.  All those years of loving won't go to waste.  How you wish we give up and surrender.  We are all wounded but she will fight you.  Great evil has risen from unexpected sources but it will NEVER overcome the power of good.  She will come around.  This is her battle and she will fight you.  You will see.

Why can't we live happily together?  Why does she think that she has to prove herself?  I thought only good will come out of good?  Wasn't I good enough?  Can You make us whole again?  Wasn't I faithful to You all this time?  I think of myself and I am reminded of Job.  Will I suffer the same test?
